Brisbane Show holiday in 2026
For 2026 the City of Brisbane appointment is Wednesday 12 August. Other Queensland regions can have a Royal Queensland Show holiday on another date, while some areas have their own local agricultural show holiday instead.
Don't assume Brisbane's date applies everywhere
This is the most important practical point. Moreton Bay, Redland, Logan, Scenic Rim, parts of Toowoomba and several other areas can have different regional appointments. Check the declared geographic scope rather than relying on the word “Ekka”.
